Inauguration:

After a difficult search for a suitable rental property for the workshop that met all the requirements for technical equipment, but also for the future staff, and also after overcoming many a bureaucratic hurdle, suitable rooms were finally found in a new building in Panga, Hanuman Ghat, in February 2022. One of the positive aspects of this selection is the fact that the building is in close proximity to the "formal" office of the PEP/SSP Committee Chairwoman Ms. Nanda Kumari Maharjan, my key aide and co-founder of the WEP,  This once again underlines the solidarity of the charity projects under the patronage of Nepalhilfe Kirtipur.

On March 24, 2022, the "Women Empowering Program Kirtipur, WEP" was inaugurated by the Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality, Mr. Ramesh Maharjan. Traditionally, the "Red Ribbon" was cut by him, assisted by Deputy Mayor Mrs. Saraswoti Khadga Rijal.

The puja ceremony takes place before the official inauguration speeches. The object of Puja worship is the divine, in this case framed, colourful representations of the gods, which will surely find their permanent place in the future workshop.

After the speeches of the mayor and his deputy, Mrs. Saraswoti Khadga Rijal, the speeches of the initiators of the project, Mr. Vijaya Kumar Maharjan, Mrs. Nanda Kumari Maharjan and Lalita Maharjan followed and also a speech by ZOOM-Video, given by the patron..

In the meantime, the invited guests, principals of the PEP schools and some of the future employees followed the ceremony attentively

because the interest of the schools in Kirtipur is great thanks to the intensive marketing.
